There are various healthcare occupations around the world. The most commonly known and usually referred to is the doctor. Well this is not only the medical and health related job in this field. The other common occupation which by fact has the largest number of individuals is actually the nurse. As a medical practitioner, I would prefer a career as a registered nurse since both economically and socially it is substantial for any person. They are usually considered to be subordinate to the doctors. This does not however mean that the medical and health centers can work without them. The registered nurse is actually a very vital person who must be present for places such as the hospitals to run efficiently.
When someone poses the question, (why should I Choose my Career as a Registered Nurse?), it may be because he or she sees too many people already in that field and thinks that by joining the fraternity, they are usually overcrowding and soon work will be no more. Well, they are wrong. Despite the huge number of registered nurses in healthcare organizations, there is still an urgent need for more of these people. There is no single time that there will be no sick person across the universe. It is near to impossible to find a place where no one gets sick for any reason. Because of this, there should always be someone near who can help and offer professional advice whenever someone falls sick or develops some form of ailments.
The registered nurse is actually someone who has undergone or undertaken certain college degree programs and excelled. This must be from an accredited learning institution. Then again this is usually not all. The individual must also pass the nursing board exams and/or requirements. The boards’ license is what actually defines whether a person is registered or not. Excelling in these requirements is therefore the key for any person who is to start practicing nursing duties. Being a registered nurse makes or allows the individual to offer his or her experience not only in medical institutions but also in schools offering the nursing courses.
